Consisting of a nitrile rubber sealing element and two acetal anti-extrusion rings, under pressure, this seal exerts a wedge action on the anti-extrusions rings and minimises the potential for extrusion of the seal. This seal is often used with wear rings on either side.

This seals fits a narrow housing width but it is recommended that bearings are used either side of this seal for stability. DPG/G’s are not suited for a cylinder expected to hold position. The face is manufactured from POM and is energised with a nitrile rubber square section ring.

    This DUL style is a one-piece double acting piston seal suitable for one piece pistons across wide pressure ranges and for applications involving large dimensional tolerances and poor surface finishes. The seal comprises two types of polyurethane bonded together. The energiser is a soft polyurethane to ensure positive sealing performance for a range of pressures, and exhibits high resilience and low compression set. The sealing element is a harder polyurethane formulated for high abrasion resistance.
