Queensland
Victoria

What originally started as a single room operation quickly turned into Queenslands largest independent seal supplier and a common name through countless companies across Australia.

Owner Allan Turner opened the doors to the original A & B Seals building in 1995 with a handful of stock and a goal to be the best seal supplier in Australia; not the best in just range & quality but also the best to listen to his customers and determine the correct solution for their problem.

This core business belief ensured rapid growth of the company and over the next 10 years had upgraded stock ranges and staff so much that the company outgrew 5 buildings in quick succession. It was a clear decision that the next building had to be a significant investment for the company to hold their ever-growing stock range and provide a strong base to serve their customers.

When the former Stubbies Work Shorts building at Underwood became available it was evident this was the place to set up. Stubbies Work Shorts are a true icon of Brisbanes’ heritage and have provided a quality product for decades (They were the first Queensland sponsor for the inaugural State of Origin rugby league match in 1980). The similarities between company ideals and the perfect location wedged between the Pacific Highway and Logan Motorway made the decision to take on the significantly larger warehouse an easy decision to make.

After making the move it allowed a degree of freedom to concentrate on our customer base and develop processes and plans to strengthen our relationship with them.
Plans such as developing range specific catalogues, product searching guides and helping customers put in stock holding suitable for their location & industry have proven to be very well received. This history of consistency in endeavour has allowed A & B Seals to have the buying power of a large corporation whilst still having the human point of contact of a smaller company.

The branch was build on the company ideals of Right Product, Right Time, Right Price and would have the full support and backing of the Brisbane warehouse.

After 20 years supplying the Australian hydraulics marketplace it was time for AB Seals to branch out from their main warehouse south of Brisbane, Queensland and expand their network to the southern states.

It was decided that a branch near Melbourne would be the perfect place to allow an effective supply chain providing next day delivery to almost the entire eastern seaboard and allowing great choice for customers all over Australia.

When the doors opened on the 1st of May 2015, A & B Seals Campbellfield was able to provide over 30 years of industry knowledge and stock holding of over 10,000 products.
